Hope is the biggest tool a person has before eyeing another challenge in life. However, the manner a person approaches every challenge provides a mere reflection of who he is. You either conquer the world against all odds or are left clutching your head with your hands in agony. You always have people who sow the seeds of doubt, surrounding your mind with a web of discouraging thoughts, relishing the opportunity to see you struggle. The mind boggles the reasons and tries to make sense of their actions before eventually deciding to leave them to be, admitting the bitter truth that sheer jealousy and the will to not see you happy clouds their poisonous minds, compelling them to below the belt blows to stay relevant in your life. Before cursing their existence, it is relevant to mention that they only adopt these measures as they are not happy with their own life, their insecurities, and shortcomings acting as the main driving force behind their barbarous acts. They can’t see others happy. They will do everything within their control to ensure you do not get to show your beautiful smile, revealing your gleaming 28-teeth at others around you. Here is where the significance of hope comes into play. Not only is it the most important cog in an individual’s life but also hope provokes people to be happy with the light of a better future enlightening the dismal soul. It provides an opportunity to embrace the falls and begin from the very beginning, acting like a restart switch in life. But with hope, there’s another important ingredient needed to turn a worn-out soul into the biggest success story overnight. Not talking about money here but a hand to hold onto, acting as a pillar of support during the smooth and rough times. A hand in a time of need will pave way for a strong foundation in a person’s life, earning more than just a “thank you” but a bond of respect and devotion. At the beginning of your life, that hand was provided by your parents, later by friends and teachers as you progressed through school and university. One right person in someone’s life can make a stark difference. But then why doesn’t everyone lend unconditional love and support? Well, you need to have a benevolent heart to give others what they lack and is unique to you. What people don’t realize that whatever you give to others, has an unexplainable method of coming back to you multifold and beyond comprehension. Ask yourself do you have that heart? Are you willing to invest your time, money, and energy on someone who will probably end up leaving you at a bitter note eventually? Just remember, your act of ‘giving’ leads to an unexplainable feeling from your inside, acknowledging that you have done the right thing. You deserve a pat on the back for that even if the world does not give you the recognition you deserve. Every person needs blessings from others for their good. The power of blessing is immense. You will only understand if you have expressed empathy and provided someone with a shoulder to cry on. You may not realize but each individual can act as a ray of hope for those around. Remember those who try to pull you down from your podiums? In the long run, you will witness that ego and jealousy does not guarantee a happy, successful life as it cripples them from the inside, their toxic traits overcoming the positive aspects they once honed. On the contrary, a person who showered those around him with appreciation and expressed gratitude for every kind act would be as a radiant sun while the former would be like mere oil lamps. Take the example of billionaires of the world. If they were to keep all their wealth to themselves by shutting down their businesses, using the wealth they have amassed to live out their life, would they be creating value from their lives? Mostly, people do not want your material goods as they do not value the same as your small acts of kindness and habit of inspiring them with renewed hope after gloomy days. Your mere existence uplifts their life due to the positivity you bring alongside. None of us is perfect and has its respective strengths and weaknesses. By joining hands, we can improve, learning from the strengths of each other. Every one of us is facing a different challenge and fighting battles most are unaware of. Wouldn’t it be much better to be nicer to them rather than implying your rude tone, believing the whole world revolves around you despite the fact you aren’t even 0.000001% of the whole world? Nevertheless, it is also true that you are only entitled to give away what you can accept for yourself. If you only give away rude comments, depict arrogance and ego accompanied by pressurization through threats and ultimatums, you won’t get flowers in return, would you? A day arrives when the nerves of the other person let go of the little respect still intact and fight fire with fire. As I earlier claimed, what you give to the world, the world has a unique way of giving it back in return. So please whenever you see a person smiling and waving at you with unparalleled levels of energy, hiding their pain and struggles behind their blissful face, return the favor with an even brighter grin to make their day better, realizing that today, someone acted nicely with them.
